Service Description:

Together with the technical team of China Unicom Hubei Branch, the Network Information Center has completed a dual deployment of DeepSeek, with a local version and a public cloud version running in parallel. The WUT DeepSeek large language model brings leading artificial intelligence technology into university education, research and administration. It provides intelligent, efficient and secure solutions for academic research, teaching assistance, campus services and management decisions, and supports the university's digital transformation and smart campus construction.

Procedure:

  1. Sign in to Smart WUT(智慧理工大) and open 办事大厅 → 服务列表 → 网络中心 → 大模型网页版用户申请.
  2. Fill in the 申请表单 (application form). 姓名 (name), 申请人身份 (your status), 申请单位 (your school or department) and 学号/工号 (student or staff number) are filled in for you. Enter 联系电话 (phone number).
  3. Under 申请用途 (purpose), tick one or more: 教学 (teaching), 科研 (research), 行政办公 (administration), 基金申请 (grant application), 个人 (personal), 其他 (other).
  4. Under 申请版本 (version), open 请选择 and choose the public cloud version or the local version.
  5. Click 申请 (apply). 暂存 saves a draft, 清除暂存 clears it, 返回 goes back.
  6. A DeepSeek administrator handles the application, usually within 1-3 business days.
