Recently, the final of the 3rd IPv6 Technology Application & Innovation Competition (Science & Education Track) & the 8th Next-Generation Internet Technology Innovation Competition concluded successfully in Beijing. After fierce competition, our university’s entry titled "Panshi Flow Insight — Multi-perspective and Multi-granularity IPv6 Threat Traffic Detection Technology for the Internet of Things" stood out among numerous contestants and won the First Prize.The achievement has also been selected into the 2025 Excellent Case Collection of Large-scale IPv6 Deployment and Application in the Education System, compiled under the guidance of the Department of Science, Technology and Informatization of the Ministry of Education. This fully demonstrates our university’s innovation strength and talent cultivation effectiveness in the field of next-generation internetsecurity.

With the theme of "AI Empowering Innovative Development of Internet Technology", the competition was hosted by the CERNET Network Center and organized by CERNET Corporation. It aims to thoroughly implement the national strategic plan for large-scale IPv6 deployment and application, stimulate innovation enthusiasm of university teachers and students in the next-generation internet sector, and cultivate high-level network technology professionals.

Inrecent years, the university has attached great importance to innovation and entrepreneurship education as well as the cultivation of information technology talents, and actively encouraged teachers and students to engage in innovative practices in cutting-edge technical fields such as IPv6 and artificial intelligence.In the future, the university will continue to closely align with the national strategic needs of building a Strong Cyber Nation, strive to cultivate more outstanding innovative talents, and contribute the "Power of Science and Technology" to promoting the large-scale deployment of IPv6 and the secure development of the digital economy in China.
